so my group met around noon again today to pull everything together and get it all working. had to change some of our code around a bit..there were some weird things but we got it all working, and re-exported our final .swf. enjoy.

ok..so i got to bed around 4.30 last night (kept the lab open till 4), woke up at 7.30..found out taegan added a little more sound and that brandy had trouble getting her stuff to work. so i made one of her variables a global variable and moved a few things around and added some script to a couple of her movie clips and that fixed those problems..then I got the preloader working (i think), so this thing should be pretty much finished. probably not as great as some of us hoped it would be, but its fully functional..just not as pretty in some places.

and I think i’m done with the flash project..i’ve been working on it since about 7 today. taegan joined me for a bit..then june and jieun came later..brandy came a little after midnight. i still had work to do so decided to keep the lab open past midnight. laurens group has been here since around 6 and is still working too. i got the map linked up to the 4 games and handed it off to taegan and brandy to finish up. i have to start working on my audio final..which is due at 9, and as of now clocks in at the amazing length of 0 seconds..

long day

so i’m at work now..have the 7-12 shift tonighttaegan stopped by around 7 and i did more coding with her help/encouragement. we got the info booth to go to the alphabet game and the souviners to go to the drawing game. i’m getting tired tho..june and ji-eun are showing up around 10 and brandy is supposed to stop by too..we’ll see if it actually gets finished or not

almost over..

so we all met in class today and did a bunch more work..i stayed till about 12..brandy a little less…taegan, june, and ji-eun a little longer. then tonight i went in to the lab where taegan works and got a little more done with her around.

anyway..i’ve been trying to crank out actionscript for this thing the past couple days..i’m already over 500 lines of code written in just the map file. all 4 buildings are pretty much fully implemented now..when you click on one your guy moves there and a littel box comes up asking if you want to enter..and you can click yes or no. no just makes the box go away, and yes makes the splash screen of the building come up..and then once i start tying stuff together you’ll actually enter the game

another meeting

so we had another group meeting today…taegan was working from 7-11 and I joined her in the computer lab working on my stuff. everyone else came around 8ish and we talked about our stuff and showed progress we’ve made and things. I got the map mostly working..just need to add some of the finishing touches so it can actually transition to some of the activities. helped June get some more code for her matching game working too..so things seem to be coming along pretty nicely for the most part.
